Yes as much as we long for nice weather, there are a couple of words I’d like to use to describe spring. I love to use the words RESET, NEW BEGINNINGS, TRANSFORMATION, GROWTH, CHANGE, REJUVENATION, and my favorite one of all DETOXIFICATION. It’s about clearing your mind, body, and spirit.
What do we do when it’s a new year or season? We clean up our homes right? It’s the same concept for our bodies. We clean our bodily systems and focus on the gullbladder, liver and tendons (responsible for the energy and bloodflow in our bodies) during the spring seasons. The focus is on our legs as we become more active during the spring. Once we reset our mind, body, and spirit we feel lighter, healthier, more clear, and ready for the season ahead.
Spring issues like allergies come up for a lot of folks. Detoxing our bodies and taking herbs like nettle, peppermint, chamomile, thyme, garlic, dried limes, echinacea, and turmeric will help lessen the inflammation and symptoms. Don’t forget to take your allergy medications to help with the season ahead.
We have a springtime detox both in tincture and tea form. It contains nettle, dandelion, lemon balm, ginger root, echinacea, and peppermint to help detoxify your mind body, and spirit and help those who suffer from seasonal allergies.
